FUN FACTS Fire Ants are attracted to electrical currents. There are 2 types of colonies — single-queen colonies and multi-queen colonies. Single-queen colonies are very territorial and will only forage for food around their mound. Multi-queen colonies are less territorial and will freely move around from one mound to another.
